I’m responsible for all the technological aspects of the company proposal, from the final solutions to tools, methodologies and technologies adopted for the production and support activities. Among my responsibilities, I define the infrastructure that best fits the project requirements. We provide support on premis on the customer data center and worldwide cloud providers. Our hosted solutions are powered by Amazon Web Services, our experience in their services allow us to offer best in class solutions, scalable and cost-optimized. I’m in charge of the planning, estimation and execution of the projects from the technical perspective, and of the preparation of technical annexes for national and international tenders. I lead the teams of software architects and developers, assuring the adoption of best practices and up-to-date technologies. I’m in charge of the scouting and integration of new technologies and products within our solutions with a particular focus on Open Source and Open Standards. I’m directly involved with open-source and domain communities to assure that our solutions remain aligned with the international trends both from the technical perspective and for the functional requirements.

PhD in Archaeology and lecturer in "Computer Applications in Archaeology" at the Catholic University of Milan. His main interest is management and analysis of data in the cultural heritage area through the use of different methods, standards and technologies, from relational databases to GIS, from Digital Libraries to the Semantic Web. In the historical / archaeological field his working activity is mainly oriented towards the design and creation of databases for several research groups. During the PhD has also gained experience in the use of statistical techniques for the analysis of archaeological data, tools used mainly for the reconstruction of the transformation processes that affected the ancient material culture. In the last decade he worked at the Interuniversity Consortia Cilea and Cineca. Here his interests expanded to the wider field of digital humanities, and materialized mainly in project management and analysis of data and metadata in the context of Digital Library Management Systems for the curation, preservation, reuse and distribution of cultural digital resources. In relation to all these topics he provided consulting services, lessons and courses in universities and in public and private institutions. He currently holds the position of Project Manager and Analyst in the field of digital humanities at 4Science.

Susanna is Business Strategist & Technologist. Her extensive experience has been gained over more than thirty years in the design and implementation of highly complex information systems for research worldwide. Susanna is well known and valued within the Open Access and Open Science communities. In the past she held positions of high responsibility in the Italian University Consortia Cilea and Cineca, the State University of Milan, and the Scientific Information Service at CERN in Geneva. She holds an MA in Linguistics with honors and a Masters in ICT Management.

Digi has a MS degree in Computer Science & Zend Certified PHP Engineer. He worked for Italian consortia, Cilea and Cineca, for the development and analysis of web applications for Digital Libraries and Electronic Publishing. He currently collaborates with the DSpace Community on the new DSpace 7 User Interface, based on Angular, and is a DSpace Committer

Vincenzo Mecca (a.k.a. Vins for friends) it's a passionate FullStack developer at 4Science S.p.A. but also a PhD Student in Information Technology at Università del Salento. My main knowledges are about Java, Spring, Angular and RxJS. In my spare time I like to listen to some good Rock music 🎸, to read some old school mangas 💭 and to build and tune some mechanical keyboards ⌨. Simone is Service Desk Analyst. He holds a joint PhD in Philosophy. He has published several papers on German classical Philosophy in Italian and international journals, and he currently is a post-doc researcher, a subject expert on History of Philosophy, and a TELC examiner for German certifications (B1-B2).

Elisa is a Service Desk Analyst at 4Science. She holds a M.Sc. in Archival and Library Science and a II level Master’s degree in Creation, Management and Preservation of Digital Archives in the public and private sectors. Former reference librarian and archivist at a university library, she has also worked as a web site designer.

Grazia is Service Desk Analyst at 4Science. She holds a PhD in Communication, Social Research and Marketing. She is Adjunct Professor of “Laboratorio di Design Transmediale” at Unimarconi. She is an editorial board member of “Transmedia series” by Armando Editore and a member of the Gender and Media Matters unit. She’s been a student at Warwick University (UK) and Universidad de Murcia (Spain).

Riccardo is a Business Analyst. He has a MSc degree in Mathematics and is a Java expert. He has been working in the ICT sector for more than 15 years as a software developer and analyst for research projects and electronic publishing. He also has many years’ experience as System Administrator for Linux/Unix operating systems.

Adele is a Project Manager at 4Science. She holds a BA in Cultural Heritage Sciences and a MA in History. She spent six years in the Netherlands, where she deepened her interest in the Digital Humanities with a course in Book and Digital Media Studies at Leiden University and worked as a Customer Service Coordinator for Microsoft

Misha is Junior Software Engineer. He collaborates in the development of solutions based on DSpace, DSpace-CRIS and DSpace-GLAM. Misha is also a student, graduating in Computer Engineering at the University “Roma Tre” of Rome.

Sara is a Project Manager at 4Science. Graduated in Modern Literature, she holds a master’s degree in Training, Management and Conservation of Digital Archives. Former librarian, she has worked both in a public and a university context.

Federico is a Business&Marketing Developer 4Science. He graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri with a BSc in Marketing Analytics and a MSc in Business Intelligence and Analytics with a focus in Data Science.
